\nThere is no surprise that Las Vegas once again hosted the premiere hip-hop event \u201cDay N Vegas Festival\u201d at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds in November of 2021. Fans spent their day out at this three-day musical festival, operated by Goldenvoice, the creators of Coachella and Stagecoach, which featured a star-studded lineup with headline performances by Kendrick Lamar, Tyler the Creator, and Post Malone. These culturally influential artists came together for this three-day event alongside a roster of powerhouse artists such as SZA, Doja Cat, Saweetie, SnohAalegra as well as up-and-comers Lil Baby, YG, DaBaby, plus many more.\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/myvegasmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/DNV2021_JulianBajsel_A23730-300x200.jpg\")
\nMusic isn\u2019t the only great thing about this fest, can we talk about the tasty food vendors? Some of the cities\u2019 hottest, trendiest, restaurants had pop up booths serving the tastiest treats. Featured vendors included Domazing, Philly Freeze, Fry Days Fish and Wings, and Soul Food Caf\u00e9, among many others. Thirsty? No problem, several bars were also set up throughout the festival grounds, perfect to get the party started.\nTickets were very accessible; especially with the payment plans available! Concert goers had four ticket options: a three-day GA pass, three-day VIP pass, single GA ticket, and single VIP ticket. This year celebrated the 3rd Annual Las Vegas St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway. The\u202fAlexander\u202fTeam at Realty One Group has been honored to partner with this great organization from the beginning. Last year, The Alexander Team was the opening sponsor for the St. Jude Walk\/Run, and this year they represented St. Jude as their REALTORS. This Giveaway was different from the past two in that St. Jude purchased a home and Kimberly\u202fAlexander, from The\u202fAlexander\u202fTeam, represented St. Jude as their buyer\u2019s agent to negotiate with Woodside Homes for the purchase of the Dream Home in the beautiful Henderson community of Cadence. <\/p>\n
Since 2017, Nevada residents have rallied to raise more than $1.8 million for the kids and families at St. Jude Children\u2019s Research Hospital through the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway. This year, our goal was to raise $1.1 million and we were nearly halfway to our goal by August 15th. Also, a bit different, only 11,000 tickets are available this year for the chance to win the brand-new home built by Woodside Homes and other prizes. The\u202fAlexander\u202fTeam played a role in this crazy fun giveaway by volunteering, answering calls, and taking payment for tickets sold. <\/p>\n\u201cI had a short window of time to find a home builder to work with and get under contract. I made a few phone calls and researched different communities. When I made that initial call to Heather at Woodside Homes, she was completely on board with what I was looking for and needed. I was over the moon and so was the entire team.,\u201d says Kristen of the Alexander Team.

St. Jude took all the vendor partners and utilized them to build the house, including vendors such as plumbing, flooring, etc. The Alexander team worked diligently together to make this a seamless transaction for St. Jude and were able to close quickly and get the home staged and ready for ticket sales. The team even had the chance to be interviewed with News 3 to showcase the house on the morning of ticket sales starting. The Alexander team happily volunteered to work the sell-a-thon at the News 3 station and take the calls to raise money.

During the month of September, there were open houses for the public each weekend until the home was given away on the 25th of September. A sneak peek of the second bedroom which was decorated by a current cancer patient at St. Jude Children's Hospital was showcased on September 5th on News 3.

\u201cWe are passionate about this charity. A portion of our commission is donated to St. Jude. We believe in paying it forward and no better way than to give to the precious children fighting their fight,\u201d says Kristen of the Alexander Team, passionate about the cause.
