Robert E. Schumacher is Managing Partner of the Las Vegas office and a member of the Construction and Commercial Litigation practice groups. He brings more than 27 years experience in complex litigation including construction, insurance coverage, general liability, commercial, employment and toxic tort litigation.

Mr. Schumacher has extensive experience dealing with OCIP and CCIP (“wrap policy”) issues and represents developers, contractors and design professionals in prosecuting monies owed, delay/impact, inefficiency and E&O claims.

Mr. Schumacher handles all types of business disputes including contract claims, business torts, privacy lawsuits, defamation, false light and trade libel cases.

Mr. Schumacher handles a variety of sophisticated engagements involving construction, general liability, professional liability and environmental. He also defended hundreds of bad faith/negligence/breach of contract matters against TPA’s arising from the Northridge Earthquake. He has defended insurance carriers in Nevada for alleged claims handling violations and conducted numerous seminars to carriers on how to adjust claims in compliance with the Nevada Unfair Claims Practices Act. Robert also handled complicated, high-exposure employer liability cases including sexual assault and battery, discrimination, wrongful termination and statutory violations.
