The Pizza Man
Heres what I’ve discovered about pizza: every city does it differently. New York style, Chicago deep dish, Sicilian, Northern Italian- the options are endless! Las Vegas offers an assortment of pizza restaurants to choose from, and if you’re smart, you’ll check out a local gem like Russo’s Pizza Kitchen the next time you’ve got a hankering for a slice.
Located at 4950 S. Rainbow (at Tropicana), Russo’s provides a hefty serving of homestyle hospitality along with a well-balanced menu. Greeted by friendly staff that really know their sauce, Russo’s uses homemade recipes brought straight from Palermo, Italy (Chef Rosario Russo’s family secrets). The pizza sauce is sweet and subtle, and makes for a delicious pie. Speaking of pie, Russo’s offers a fun way to enjoy pizza with your kids by letting kids make their own pizza (free) with any adult meal purchase. What a great way to enjoy family dinner!
In addition to tasty pizza, Russo’s doesn’t skimp on other menu options including fresh salads like Antipasto Alla Simone (a hearty combo of authentic ingredients like capicola, artichoke hearts, fresh tomatoes and provolone). The lightly breaded and fried calamari was some of the best
I’ve had in town, served with a slightly spicy tomato sauce.
Hot and cold subs, calzones, plenty of pasta dishes to choose from, and a sweet dessert menu make Russo’s Pizza Kitchen a perfect choice for an Italian meal you won’t soon forget.
