The Early Years
Ladyjhill moved to Las Vegas Sunday, May 4, 2013, and quickly became a member of Detroit Connection, Inc. Ladyjhill is a strong supporter of all of Detroit Connection Inc.’s events which are fundraisers for collegiate student scholarships. From this in April 2014 she worked with Las Vegas Soul Festival as the Vendor Coordinator Manager for three years. From here she went to work for “Take The Stage.” Ladyjhill quickly went to work in various capacities such as:
- A Welcome Ambassador
- Live Streaming Camera Operator
- As well as taking photos and videos of guest, performers, as well as the celebrities attending the show
- Ladyjhill would take these various photos and videos & publish them to her pages to help promote “Take The Stage.”
She would work in these various capacities for two years. She has also worked with the City Lights R&B and Jazz Festival as a Ticket Taker and Greeter for three years.
From these three events, Ladyjhill decided to bring her Detroit, business here to Las Vegas. In Detroit, Ladyjhill had a brick and mortar business with a big gorgeous backyard. She rented out the inside to vendors for them to sell their goods, products, items, and services. While on the outside in the backyard there was a stage for the artist to come to perform weekly. The patrons would pay a small fee to enter the building, browse around to the various vendors to shop, eat, drink, and then come outside to the backyard. Once in the backyard, they would bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to listen to great music under the stars. Ladyjhill combined from her experiences in both Detroit and Las Vegas to form a show with local talent, professional entertainers, vendors, and fundraising for local charities. In December 2016, she executed her dreams for WE Entertainment & Production with great success. This gave her the inspiration to do more of these worthy and noble events for the community.
Her next event will be Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Craig Ranch Regional Park Amphitheater, A Mother’s Day Extravaganza Festival “I’ll Always Love My Mother.” Doors are scheduled to open at 1 pm, show starts at 2 pm, and closes at 11 pm, tickets available on ticket master.
