“Living the Highlife”
We have watched Las Vegas grow for years, and it continues to grow. Many come to Las Vegas to gamble and now with almost 7,000 people moving to the valley every month, it has become one of the fastest growing cities in America, and one of the wealthiest cities in the country… a true Metropolitan city.
“Las Vegas has really diversified as a city. It is a place where people want to be.” – Eric Trump
High Rise condos have been developing since 2007, and now, you can now experience ‘The Cosmopolitan Lifestyle’ by living in one of the fabulous high-rise condos or condo hotels that sit along the Vegas Strip. Here are a few examples of what our beautiful city has to offer:
Since the City Center Project was completed, Las Vegas took its own turn into a new era. “The most expensive privately funded construction project in U.S History.” The City Center is an 18 million square foot metropolis with $8.5 billion funded into the project and $40 million invested into modern sculptures and installations by world famous artists, including Maya Lin, Nancy Rubins, Herry Moore, Jenny Holzer, Richard Long, Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggens.
City Center earned six LEED Gold Certifications for Hotels, Residences and Retail District. Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, and Veer Towers were also awarded LEED Gold Certification. The world-famous Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas’ triple five star hotel, is only one of six in the United States. The Interior of the hotel was executed by American interior designer, Adam D. Tihany. It has approximately 392 hotel rooms and 225 condominium residency units. Residents can enjoy a fitness center, complimentary valet, five star restaurants, a spa and one of my favorites, a tea lounge, with an unbelievable view of the Las Vegas Strip.

Veer Towers located in the heart of City Center Las Vegas has a breathtaking view of the Las Vegas Strip, Bellagio fountains and City Center. Lobbies and public spaces were developed by Francisco Gonzales Pulido. Twin towers lean in opposite direction (5degrees from center), designed by Murphy/Jahn Architects of Chicago. East and West towers host 674 units combined, ranging from 556 square foot studios, to 2,256 square foot penthouses.
Each tower features a roof top infinity pool, spa, and barbeque area as well as a fitness center, private theater, billiard room, complimentary valet and 24 hour concierge. What I love about Veer Towers, is that you can walk out to The Crystals (500,000 square foot shopping mall and entertainment district) at City Center and Las Vegas Boulevard without the need of driving a car.
Vdara Hotel and Spa located in City Center across from Aria Resort and Casino, received its first AAA Diamond award and was designed by Architect, Rafael Vinoly. Owners can participate in a rental program and rent it out as a hotel for the daily rates. Vdara units contain a kitchen as well as a washer and dryer. They range from 526 square foot studios to 2 bedroom, 1,750 square foot penthouses. Power, cable, internet, water, 24 hour room service, and complimentary valet is included in a monthly associating fee. Starbucks is even located in the lobby and can be delivered to your room… YES please.
Trump International Hotel & Towers… The name says it all. This golden beauty, located across from Fashion Show Mall, is just off the Las Vegas Blvd. It’s a 64 story luxury hotel, with condominiums that include 1,282 units, 880 Studios, 352 1Bdr units, 50 suites of 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms on the Penthouse level. Exterior windows are gilded with 24 Carat Gold and the project was designed by Bergman, Walls & Associates. Residents can enjoy a 10,000 square foot spa, 24 hour in-room dining, 2 signature restaurants, fitness area, and outdoor heated pool. I love the lobby with sparkles of a stunning colonnade and floor to ceiling crystal chandelier.
Palms Place expansion to the Palms Hotel and Casino, was built in 2008. It’s a 47 story condo hotel with strip and mountain views. Each unit is furnished with a fire place, kitchen, washer and dryer and in-room service. Amenities include: spa, fitness, pool, short walk to the casino and Brendon Theater. One of my favorites, Simon Restaurant & Lounge, is known for Sunday brunch buffet, and caters quality organic ingredients.
MGM Signature, boasts three identical 38-story towers, just off Las Vegas Blvd and connected by a moving walkway to the MGM Hotel and Casino. Each tower consist of 576 furnished units. Owners can also participate in a rental program with the hotel and residents have access to all MGM Grand amenities. Great investment properties.
