Women in Film (WIF) Nevada
Women in Film (WIF) Nevada is a proud chapter of Women in Film & Television International (WIFTI) and produces the annual Nevada Women’s Film Festival. Members enjoy year-round benefits like VIP Passes to NWFFest, and exclusive educational and networking events. WIF Nevada hosted the recent Young Filmmakers’ Workshop at Canyon Springs High School. Five films were produced by five student groups under the guidance of mentors. The student films screened during NWFFest in June at the Young Filmmakers’ Showcase. Students participated in an audience Q&A, enjoyed the pink carpet experience and their hard work was celebrated with rounds of applause.
