Las Vegas has long been a magnet for stars, with celebrities constantly coming and going.
Recently, the city welcomed another familiar face—acclaimed actress Keely Dervin. Known for her roles in over 54 feature films, she has officially made Las Vegas her home. While spending the last two years working in the UK, with three upcoming film releases, she has also embraced becoming an active member of the local community. “I love the energy of this city. We are lucky in Las Vegas that we can attract such wonderful people, and each celebrity and person make our community a stronger place,” Dervin shares. “There’s a real sense of community here. I wanted to be part of something bigger.”
Keely has immersed herself in local living and initiatives. She sits on the Board of the Nevada Women’s Film Festival and is deeply involved with its youth program. Additionally, she serves on the board of Nevada Women in Film, an organization dedicated to empowering women in the industry. Her passion for giving back extends beyond the arts—she’s also an active Rotary member and frequently volunteers to support local causes. “I love to help out with nonprofits when I have the chance,” she says. “I often MC events and run auctions for local nonprofits. It’s important to use whatever platform I have to make a difference.”
