The International School of Hospitality (TISOH) is pleased to announce Executive Director Timothy M Lam has been named president of the Foundation of the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE).
“I am honored to serve on the Foundation of NACE,” Lam said. “The foundation’s focus on supporting the catering and events industry through education, investment in the community and philanthropy reflects the values we uphold at TISOH. I hope to continue to advance those values and help keep the industry moving forward.”
Lam, who in 2014 served as vice president of the foundation, is a founding member of TISOH. During its 10 years, more than 1,500 students have graduated from TISOH, which specializes in short-term courses ranging from event planning and catering to concierge and hospitality leadership.
TISOH attracts future hospitality leaders from around the world with a unique approach that lets students learn from experts working in the field. Its curriculum has been developed by the industry for the industry.
With more than 4,000 members, NACE, at www.nace.net, is the oldest and largest professional association dedicated to all aspects of the catering and events industry.
